Cuvée Tradition Boisset red 75cl Vin de Pays de l'Herault
Several important factors distinguish the Cuvées Tradition BOISSET from other Herault wines. The most stringent selection is made when choosing the grapes intended for these select cuvées. No effort is spared in an uncompromising demand for quality. The bottle too sets the Cuvées Tradition BOISSET above the rest. Its distinctively elegant shape, based on an original XVIIIth century model, is a JEAN CLAUDE BOISSET creation, adding distinction and style to every table.
Grape Varieties : Mourvèdre, a "noble" variety, is chosen to contribute rich colour and structure. Syrah, another "noble" variety, adds further depth of colour and "backbone" to the structure, as well as particular flavours (rich fruit and spice). Carignan also enhances the colour nuances and adds intensity to the taste. Finally cinsault, a typical southern Rhône variety, enhances the fruit aromas and acidity levels for good balance.
TASTING NOTES :
COLOUR : Cherry red.
BOUQUET : Fruity aromas, kirsch (an "eau de vie" speciality), and a hint of spice.
PALATE : Fresh, generous, with flavours fruit and spice
SERVING TEMPERATURE : Should be served cool to better appreciate the fruit flavours. Cellar temperature of about 12 to 14°C is perfect.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRING : Excellent served with grilled meats and mature cheeses.
AGEING POTENTIAL : Fresh in its youth, this excellent Cuvée Tradition will keep well over one to two years.
