Cotes du Rhone red Terres de Galets 37.5cl Gabriel Meffre

TERRES DE GALETS : takes its name from the smooth white pebble stones called «Galets» which are found in the vineyards. They reflect the heat and light of the sun to help rippen the grapes and create a rich and concentrated wine.

GRAPE VARIETIES : Grenache - Syrah - Cinsault - Mourvèdre

VINIFICATION

• Each grape variety is vinified separately

• 18 to 22 days of maceration

• Pumping over twice a day

• Maceration and fermentation are maintained between 28 and 30°C to favour the extraction of the finest components from the grapes.

TASTING NOTES

Colour : Deep purple-red with a clean brilliance.

Nose : Full and intense with aromas of red fruit and provençal herbs, with a hint of black pepper.

Flavour : The spicy, red fruit character is confirmed with a full, lively structure and a long, savoury finish.

WINE WAITER’S ADVICE

Service temperature : 15 to 16°C

Food pairing : Provençal and Mediterranean food, roasted or grilled meats, mature cheese.

Ageing : Enjoy now or within 2 to 5 years.
