Sake Maison Izumibahi Kuro Tonbo 72cl 16%
Produced using the ancestral kimoto method, which involves a great deal of manual labor, Kurotonbo (black dragonfly) sake from Izumibashi gives off cereal notes with a powerful aroma and pronounced umami. A sake to accompany an entire meal, it can also be enjoyed warm. The label alludes to the dragonflies hovering over the rice fields surrounding the brewery, a reminder that Izumibashi is one of the few sake breweries to grow its own rice. Nestled in the heart of the Ebina region since 1857, the brewery benefits from the natural bounty and abundance of rice-growing land and the natural flow of mineral-rich water from Mount Tanazawa.
